I have officially become a Suai stan over night... like for real this chick is the real deal. People with real talent like hers are admired from afar, but thats not how its suppose to be. Suai pronouced Sway is currently touring with Solange & Estelle right now (2 days left on tour). Her voice is truly sultry and you can her it in her songs “Stronger (When a Woman Loves a Man)” featuring Akon, “Special” and “Oh Snap…I Fell in Love”. She is a talented musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Detroit, Michigan recently signed to the Motown/Universal records label. Suai plays the piano, guitar, cello and flute. You all know I LOVE music and LOVE keeping it fresh with new artist. Well, this CurT@!n$. He is a Brooklyn MC that is FIRE and can dress his ass off. This video is off his album "The Great Adventures of DoPE Boy C." The video was shoot in LA awhile ago using a red cam. I really don't all the details but how the video was shoot but it is HAUTE in he is Fresh. Oh yeah red cam is the wave of the future. So get adjusted to it know, cause is like blu-ray once you watch it you can't go back to regular dvds no more.

What's up people, today I wanted to put the spotlight on somebody I personally believe is about to be the next person to shake up the music industry. We have spotlighted him before but since then there has been a couple changes for the good. So lets get to it

JB: Ive been askd this question soooo many times (lol)... But "J.B. August" is a name that truly describe me as a person (on & off the mic/ camera/ stage etc. etc.)... "CiTiBoI" was a real cliche` name, ya kno... I feel like it was disrespectful towards my music, if it was representd with a cliche` name ya feel me. I feel like the music is a breathe of fresh air to the industry/ world, so I wantd that good quality name behind it. Besides, J.B. August is real marketable... I can use it in other forms of entertainment, ya kno.

Total Request Live, better known as TRL, has been officially canceled after ten years. Rumors swirlied around February of this year that the show would be canceled but it was made offical yeasterday.
TRL executive producer Dave Sirulnick said that show, which is taped in Times Square, will take its final bow in a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon in November. He added that show isn’t “ending for good” but needs a “break.”
This is sad.. I remember when I got home from school I would watch Carson Daly talk to everyone from Britney, N'SYNC, Christina and many others. Honestly I think it was a wrap when Carson left... but music is not music no more and videos don't have concept anymore

But the funny thing is Kanye has nothing but positive things to say about the whackness that is 50. So, basically 50 is in verbal assault with himself. Common highly anticipated album "Finding Forever" drops next week (July 31st). Common's last album "Be" was released in 2005. And his lead single "Go" from that album was produced by no other than Kanye West. And they stuck with the magic and Kanye was the producer of his lead track "The People" (Common is on the G.O.O.D "Get Out Our Dreams" record label). I am really looking forward to this album. He is a true lyricist that deserves praise for his accomplishments in the music industry. He motivates you when you are down, gives a beat to bump, and he gives you him. A quality that 80% these so call rappers don't give. Make sure you get the album....
Sept 11, 2007 is the day the Louis Vuitton Don comes back to the top of the billboard charts with his third CD... named Graduation. Kanye West's album is also butting heads with 50 cents album but I doubt that Kanye is even worried. I wouldn't be at all... 50 is a WTF moment... I'm getting my graduation on Sept 11.
Okay... I love music more than some people love themselves. And I have gotten to point where I don't listen to the radio or watch music video's because I feel that anyone can be a "artist". What happen to the great musicians of our time, have they died or just went into hiding. Cause the crap Def Jam, Sony, J records, Zomba,Universal, and etc are putting out is crap. I was looking at Def Jam's long list of artist and i would only say a handful are true musicians with a talent. The rest can hold a note and look cute. What the HELL happen to artist development stage before an artist came out. I understand you need club bangers and all but give me a break. Lip gloss, A bay bay, by the hand needs some work. Go back into the studio and do some real music. Artist always say they are influenced by the greats and then you hear their shit and you be like I hope Stevie didn't inspire that crap. I think artist should fight to write their own songs or at least right about things that are meaningful... cause hearing about Ho's, money and cars is boring. That's the stuff that was hot when Cash Money came out TEN years ago.
UPDATE: TI and his alter ego TIP sold 500K in the first week and they are on the TOP of the Billboards. While my fellow Houstonian only sold 85,000....yikes... WTF that's all I am gonna say. I love MZ. Kelly and her album, but I have been banging TI. VS. TIP... I love all 19 tracks... and not that many artist can have you listen to an album all the way through... loves me some TI

Okay... Last year around this time I was focused on making two of my friends R&B stars, but it fail through because of all three are ends. But this time around its totally different. I have one artist and he is my fave. Rob Devine. Rob has a passion for this. And I have the passion to make him great beyond his beliefs. With the both of our know how's and the connect we both have by 4th quarter (october- december) Rob should be signed and he can have his benz...smiles

That was Rob's first Photo shoot a year ago. This time around we will be on location either in LA or ATL. 9 out 10 it will be in ATL because he has studio time coming with a great guy named HANK... Well, I am on the hunt for new clothes and vocal coach and other stuff. I am also writing some songs. Maybe Rob will do one or we can co-write one.

Here's the Music Video for "Wall To Wall" that as you know is the lead single of the upcoming Chris Brown album titled "Exclusive" due for release on August 28th. The song is pretty hot and i'm sure it'll do great in the charts. About the video, i was expecting it to premiere via BET but it just premiered on AOL Music so lucky us we can watch it now. The storyline is pretty cool, i like vampires lol. The first scenes reminded me a lot of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video for some reason. And finally the last scenes with everybody doing the choreopgraphy were really nice. Overall, great video!. Hope you like it. Enjoy
