Sibling promotion: Solo & Bey edition

Solo & Bey have been both spotted shooting video's and doing press tours for their albums. I know my Ms. Solange hates to mentioned in the same breath as Bey when she is promoting or basically doing her, but I am sticking to my siblings posting today!!!!

Okay, I was completed caught of guard. I was watching House my favorite show. Then it went to commercial and that's when I saw Beyonce and then I heard "I Decided" and I looked up and saw Solange. I don't even know what to say. I really am speechless. Here is the commerical its not great but when I find another one I will upload it.

SoL-AngeL & The Hadley Street Dreams album review

Okay, I was elated that tuesday came so fast. First, my book came in "The One Hundred" by Nina Gracia & Solange second album dropped. So, I rushed to pick up both. To my surprise the cd as only 7.99...yes not the normal 9.99. So I bought two... hehehe one for the car and one for the apartment. I do that with a plethora of my albums especially if I really like the artist. Well, I gonna give you the REAL review of the album...

God Given Name: is the business. I don't live in anyone shadows but starting the ablum witht his track was the best move. It told people this me and get ready to listen what I have to say. Its only 2 minutes but you get the jest that quickly.

T.O.N.Y: Alot of bloggers and other individuals are saying this is the new "tyrone". I kinda agree. The track is awesomely cool. It has me up and dancing and loving the lyrics

Sandisco castle: Is my second fave song on the album. I was discussing it with my guy friend and he said it was the fly and digged the video concept....

Sol angel has been in London this week promoting her album. It was announced that she will be the ambassador for Armani Jeans.

***upated 8/7/08*** I been reading several blogs and forum boards and the negative remarks they have been making about Solo vblogging. Can we as a community stop the hate. Yes, other races hate us but we hate on each other more than anything. Promote within and stand strong together. Like your momma use to say if you aint got anything nice to say don't say nothing at all. Keep the positive energy and the positive energy will flow back to you...& when you speak & think negativity and it will stay with you for days

Solange shook off the gray eyebrow dust and pinned the hair back to look extra Fab at TRL today. This dress is FIERCE & her legs look great. She took off the cast and rocked extra cute shoes (check out hot look of the week). I don't care what nobody say Solo got it going and she is her... and thats what is about at the end of the day.

"Sol-Angel & the Hadley Street band" premiered the video for "I decided" earlier this week on BET. The video has a great concept and I believe she is about to bring the fire with her new album.

Okay, I have been LOVING Solange since forever. I have her first album and it was a banger when i was 16...LOL. I am really glad that album is dropping August 26th. And her sound is so different from before and the rest of the chicks that are out now. I really hope that America listens and stops comparing her to her sister.
